Well...I'm a musician/singer/songwriter/recording artist type from Teesside in England. I used to be a disco dancer of some infamy/repute so the love of Donna really came from there. The madness of the song Macarthur Park was what really swung it for me but, of course I realised there was much more going on with her other stuff too. I don't really consider myself a "dance" artist though I have made some electro/dance music in the past. The electro style of the song just came through some stuff I was tampering with but i kept a flavour of Giorgio Moroder in the trancey bass line that opens the song. The chorus for the song (such as it is) just popped in my head a few weeks back so I wrote and recorded it pretty quickly.
